Leaning to Use “Logic” – Adeline #2

I’ve recently started messing around with / learning “Logic” – which, for those who don’t know, is Apple’s music editor software. It’s pretty trough goings without an electronic piano hooked up to it because all of the notes have to be inputed by hand. Despite some setbacks and learning curves I have managed to piece together some sound effects for one of my older acoustic songs titled: “Adeline.”

This is a cover I did of one of my favorite Rich Mullins song. It’s titled: “If I Stand.” It really speaks to the level of desired dependency we should all have on God’s love as well as our humbleness – to realize our own weakness in the midst of what God is able to accomplish within and through us.

It’s You Who Loves Me More

Another song I wrote for my then girlfriend, now wife. This came from joking we would do about who loves who more. I did a couple of versions of this one – the main difference being the double vocals to add a more full sound. Let me know if there is one version you like better than the other.

I wrote this for my girlfriend and now wife. Note to all the single guys out there: playing guitar will work wonders for your dating life.

This songs speaks that feeling of being loved when you know you don’t deserve it. We see glimpses of it in our human relationships, but God is the only consistent source of this type of love.
